Dry lease is where the lessee pays only for Aircraft and insurance (IA) and other costs like fuel,maintance,crew,landing ,navigation,parking ,crew accommodation,transport,laundry,clearances,work permits,license validation is on the lesse account.The lessor (0wner of aircraft only pays for insurance and aircraft).Wet lease is charged on (ACMI) Aircraft.Maintance,CRew,Insurance andd the lessee pays for crew meals,accomodation,laundry and transport,internet,fuel,landing,navigation,parking,work permits,clearances,validation and crew change return tickets that is pilots andd engineers.In adhoc flights you will realize you might be chartering an aircraft flying for example 100 hrs and since it is not lease you loose an incentive on 30 hrs and this is the hidden advantage which most of air charter company will not tell you.So there is need to evacuate your project and get to know which way to go orelse you will loose Big Time.In other cases you find organizations lease whereas their best option is to charter and they loose out and it is not adviceable to lease if you are not able to fly 60 hrs and above in amonth.You rather committ for adhoc flights in a month having know exactly which days you fly and negotiate for a further 5% discount as for lease whether you fly or not you will pay for the guaranteed hours.In lease hire deposit of the guaranteed hours is paid plus one month security and the aircraft will be painted in your colour with your logo if you want and even pilots can wear uniform of business identity.
